ABOUT US
At the surface, Chris Sparks Entertainment is the company responsible for marketing and promoting professional recording artist and songwriter, Chris Sparks. But dig a little deeper and you'll see an innovative company revolutionizing the music and entertainment marketing industry.

Chris Sparks is an ex-banker turned technology guru who has a BSBA in Marketing, MBA in Finance and over 10 years of business experience. He's responsible for building from scratch one of the largest networks of business and career web sites called the BusinessMVP.com and CareerMVP.com Network which has 250 industry, 50 state and 465 city sites. Chris has led this network to major deals with some of the largest brands on the web. But, Chris' creativity and savvy don't start or stop in business and marketing. His other true passion is music.

While studying to get his MBA, Chris created an independent study of the record industry. He quickly discovered that none of the music business principles made sense. "When I told any of my business associates about my findings, they were in awe that these companies stayed out of bankruptcy and were actually publicly traded." Of course, you don't have to look hard for proof with major labels going down every year. Why? Just take a look at the artist rosters which often resemble a revolving door. 50% turnover rate is a very conservative number. No other industry would allow such a high failure rate. So any company investing brand dollars in a major label artist has more than a 50% chance of finding themselves in the red when the label drops the artist. That's not an investment. That's gambling!

"I believe in focusing long-term whether it be customer relations or building the brand name of an artist. Yes, successful labels focus on building an artist's brand name just like any other company does. Being that I am the product and label owner, I have a vested interest in building my brand. For our sponsors, that means they can feel confident they are making a long-term investment in their brand when they work with us."

Chris bases the principles of the company on his background in business, marketing and working with major corporations. "Even though this is basically a record label, we don't want to run it that way. We want to approach it as any entrepreneur would any other business." By using this philosophy, Chris Sparks Entertainment is able to come up with many innovative ideas from offering advertising in the CD covers to using CD's to raise funds for charities.

ADVERTISING IN CD's
We are pioneering exciting new ways for companies to build their brands using entertainment marketing. We're the first label to offer regular advertising opportunities within our CD covers. Magazines, newspapers and TV/radio stations all provide content supported by advertising. While some artists have allowed major tour sponsors to have a promotional ad in some CD's, no label or artist has ever offered pure advertising in the CD covers. It's an absolute marketing no-brainer.

MARKETING WITH PROMOTIONAL CD's
Promotional items are an integral part of any marketing plan. But, how are your promotionals working. Do customers seek you out just to get them? How long do your customers actually keep them? Now, how much is that costing your per item? Now compare that with the idea of offering a custom version of a major artist's CD. The CD cover could be a mini product catalog, company bio, restaurant menu, coupon book or anything else that fits your marketing plan. The best part is that CD's are never thrown away because they have monetary value! At the very least, they will be a collectible and maybe increase in value. Have the artists show up and autograph them and you've got a cherished promotional item promoting your brand!


CHARITY PROJECTS
We are proud to announce numerous charity CD's that will be supporting the American Red Cross, Alzheimer's Research, the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund and many others. Our gracious sponsors will be advertising inside each CD with some great offers for supporters of the project. This will cover the cost of each release of the CD. The CD's will then be given away FREE to each person who donates at least $5 to $10 to the charity. The price will depend on the market. Either way, this allows for 100% of the proceeds to go directly to the charity.

We plan to release 100,000 copies of each CD with the goal of raising $500K to $1 Million for each charity. In addition, we are releasing custom copies to targeted markets with sponsors from the respective markets.
